If you feel like this, it's time to get some support!

Even if you're feeling like this, and, let's face it, if you have misophonia, who can blame you, there's no need to feel alone anymore...
...welcome to the UK Misophonia (Sound Sensitivity) Support Group

The UK Misophonia (Sound Sensitivity) Support Group is Misophonia UK's sister site. Find us on Meetup here and Facebook here.
The UK Misophonia Support Group is a place for people with this debilitating condition to come together online for support, mutual understanding and to share experiences. We organise real-world meetings for those who want to do so.
Misophonia, also known as Selective Sound Sensitivity Syndrome, SSSS and phonophobia, is a poorly-understood condition. Most doctors have never heard of it, and diagnosis usually requires a meeting with a consultant audiological physician or otolaryngologist. However, the growing strength of online communities suggest that it is a widespread problem. We plan to campaign for greater recognition in the medical and research arenas. A greater awareness in the general public would be a long-term goal.
We warmly invite family members and friends of those with misophonia to join too.
