Guy Fitzmaurice LLB (Lon), Barrister-at-law (Lincoln's Inn). Director of Misophonia UK.
Guy Fitzmaurice is a barrister. He was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in 1999. He has a background in journalism and healthcare marketing, having worked on accounts for the British Postgraduate Medical Federation, Imperial College School of Medicine and Cancer BACUP, which merged with Macmillan Cancer Relief in 2008 to form Macmillan Cancer Support. He is a member of the CIC (Community Interest Company) Association and the National Primary Care Patient and Public Involvement Forum at the University of Manchester.
Guy has been diagnosed with misophonia. He says: "I remember only too well the loneliness I felt as I struggled with misophonia as a child and I don't want anyone to be stranded in that place again."
