I've just attended a meeting about the new official healthcare Information Standard. It's a certification scheme for health and social care information producers.

Says their website: "Those organisations that meet the criteria will be entitled to place a quality mark on their information materials, so people searching for healthcare information can easily identify it as coming from a reliable, trustworthy source."

It is quite an onerous scheme, but if it takes off, could pay enormous dividends, so I am going to put in an application, Exciting stuff!
